Friday Progress Update, Mar 22: "Partytime!"

Good evening! Or good night, good morning, or whatever is suitable for you guys.

It's time for another one of those things. You know, Friday progress updates.

So what's new? Without going back to check what I wrote last week, this is where we stand: The script for the update is done. Well, except for a couple of loose ends I've got to tie together, but it's minimal. I've been rendering since, I think, Tuesday. I'm at 60 renders into day 14. That means just over 500 total. I'm estimating it at less than 200 to go. Doable in two weeks in good weather and with a healthy supply of ice cream.

The good news is that two thirds of the update is already post-worked, playtested and ready to ship. So once I'm done with rendering, there ain't that much work to do prior to a release.

 

I'm going to go out on a limb and claim less than three weeks to release. If I fail, I'll wear the dunce hat until summer.

Slower than I would have liked but I think it will clock in at 700 renders and 11 animations and be my biggest update so far, by a decent margin.

So anyway, no questions were asked of me and I don't know what else to write about, but I want to get some more renders done today. I feel like I've just imposed a deadline on myself and put a target on my back. I'll dive right back into Daz!
